On the morning of September 26, a delegation of four, including Vice President Hong Tao from Nanjing Vocational University of Tourism, visited our university for an inspection and exchange. Deputy Party Committee Secretary Wen Aimin, Director of the Party Committee Propaganda Department Yuan Qian, and Deputy Dean of the International Education College Hu Ning received them and held a meeting.
Secretary Wen Aimin expressed his welcome to Dean Hong and his delegation, noting that as closely connected sister institutions, the two universities have consistently maintained a positive atmosphere of interaction in the development of vocational education and internationalization practices. He also shared the university's experience in internationalization, emphasizing the principles of having projects, small scale, high quality, and effectiveness in advancing international initiatives.
Minister Yuan Qian provided a detailed introduction based on our university's actual situation, covering aspects such as the functions of the international education department, faculty development, internationalized education, the internationalization of teachers and students, foreign affairs work, and the management of international student education.
The two parties engaged in in-depth discussions on the development of the International Education College, the management of international students, and foreign exchanges and cooperation. They exchanged views on common issues and solutions. This inspection and exchange activity strengthened the friendship between the two universities and established an efficient platform for sharing experiences.
